The Venue :: Ramsey Creek Park
The Charlotte Asian Festival and Charlotte Dragon Boat Festival Races are held at Ramsey Creek Park on Lake Norman in Cornelius, NC. The waterfront park covers 46 acres and features beaches, boat launching and docks, a new playground, picnic shelters, nature trails, and a fishing pier. The trails offer a great place to walk and admire nature at its finest.
Heats for the dragon boat race begin at 9:00 a.m. Races will continue throughout the day. The Asian Festival opens at 11:00 a.m. and runs until 4:00 p.m. Please note that there is no public parking for the Asian Festival at Ramsey Creek Park. Parking is available at the Palace Theatre on 17220 W. Catawba Road with complimentary shuttle service to the festival site.
